Fun under the sun!

Florida, Florida, Florida...we made it there...had lots of fun...and made it back! We started our vacation with a trip to Magnolia for Owen's 4th Birthday Party! I cannot believe he is 4! It was a spider man party and totally cute! He got a real drum set and is on his way to being a rock star just like his daddy! Catherine has decorated her home perfectly! What a crafty gal! Unfortunately that evening we got the bad news that one of Sophia's friends was burned in an accident and had to be admitted to the burn unit at ACH for most of the week. He is home now but will take weeks/months to recover. We will keep praying for Landry!

We hit the road to Florida and Sophia did great! She only let us know she was unhappy if she was dirty or hungry! What more can you ask for from a baby! I complained more about the drive than she did! We ate on the beach that evening at Surf Burger! The boys were precious experiencing the beach and the sand for the first time.


The following days were full of fun at the beach though Sophia loved the water and hated the sand! Fun in the pool! The Gulfarium! Good eats! The Naval Aviation Museum! We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, we got more bad news on Monday that my classmate/friend from PT School was killed in an accident on Sunday. He was newly married and on his way home from his honeymoon. His wife was seriously injured but is expected to heal. Please pray for her and for Hartford's family. This is such a tragedy. Despite this horrible news but also in light of this horrible news, I made the most of every minute with my family and enjoyed the vacation so much!
