Easter Weekend: Ducks, Purple Tutus, and an Eggstravaganza!

We had a whirlwind Easter Weekend! Saturday morning we got up and played with little Sophia! We fixed up a little Easter basket for her with a book, shoes, monogrammed bloomers from her Nana, and Ducks! Ducks! Ducks! Also, we included "Chuck," the chicken-duck that was also from Nana and Grandpa! Sophia loves Ducks (and chickens apparently)!

Of course her favorites were the eggs I put in the basket for decoration!

Then we packed up for our very first family-but-mainly-Sophia photo shoot with Lindsey Watson! She is a friend of a friend and let me tell you...she did a great job!!! You can check out a few shots from our session here. Just scroll down a few and you will get to us!

We then headed to a church easter egg hunt at the Summers' house! It was wonderful and Sophia actually loved the Easter Bunny! Sophia's Gigi and Grandad came to Conway for the egg hunt!


Off to Searcy after the egg hunt! We spent the night with Gigi and Grandad and went to worship with Sophia's great-grands! We had a wonderful time and as always Sophia helped her Great-Grandad preach! Gigi fixed her a fabulous Easter Basket...mommy and daddy will have to step up their game I suppose!




We love to celebrate Easter, but we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in our lives daily and with communion with our Lord every first day of the week! Praise God for his glorious plan!
